I’ve always been quite a mediocre student. Memorizing facts just to regurgitate them in an exam seemed like a waste of time to me. I had no interest; I didn’t understand the purpose.
But something curious happened: there were subjects that truly fascinated me. Those that weren’t about repeating what someone else had said, but about observing, analyzing, and solving problems. That’s where I truly excelled. It was as if those subjects were designed for me. I’ve always been passionate about finding solutions to problems…
I even remember earning a distinction at university. Me, a mediocre student. The subject was called “kinesiology,” and it was about identifying all the muscles and joints in the body and understanding how they coordinated to perform specific actions. Like a beach tennis serve, for example.
That’s what brought me to the picture above (I’m the one on the left), captaining the Spanish National Beach Tennis Team or being responsible for the coaching courses of the Spanish Federation.
What I’m really trying to say is that I might not be able to help you with most things in your daily life, but if what you’re looking for is to play better beach tennis, I’m your guy!
